Personal Loans – the ‘any Purpose Loans’ – are in Great Demand

Personal loans are the only loans in the credit bazaar that touch most lives. Based on usage, some of the most saleable products are:

  • Bad credit loans enable bad credit holders to fix their finances and the improve the credit record for the future

  • Business loans enable aspiring or established entrepreneurs to give concrete shape to their new ventures or new life to existing businesses

  • Car loans help people buy and drive their desired vehicle – new or used

  • Cosmetic surgery loans help people to achieve the look they always wanted

  • Debt consolidation loans enable people to consolidate their multiple debts or outstanding amounts into a single manageable debt

  • Education loans and career development loans help students and professionals attain the desired knowledge and fulfil their career ambitions

  • Holiday loans ensure that a tight financial situation does not stop people from taking a break or enjoying the holiday season

  • Home improvement loans ensure maximum loan benefits like low APR, flexible repayment options and easy loan terms and conditions to homeowners

  • Wedding loans ensure that endless wedding expenses do not over-shadow the wedding plans of prospective couples

The above-mentioned range of personal loan products proves that these loans are ‘any purpose loans’. The basic approval criteria to avail all personal loans remain same – UK residency, above 18 years of age, credit history, employment status, DTI ratio and the value of the pledged collateral (if applicable).

Please note: The APR (Annual Percentage Rate) varies according to the type and amount of loan required, desired payback option and period, past and current credit record and value of the pledged collateral.

personal loans have two sub-types. Secured personal loans – for homeowners and property owners, are obtainable by pledging collateral. Whereas, unsecured personal loans – for all, i.e., homeowners, property owners, tenants and students, are obtainable without pledging collateral.

Ability and willingness to pledge collateral is the basic criteria for opting for a secured or unsecured loan deal. However, the loan seeker must also give importance to the practicality or feasibility of getting into property related legalities and risking his property for a small amount, along with APR and other loan benefits.

Joint Ventures: the Profit Power of Motivation

When I attended a Dale Carnegie Management Course, the trainer, Deon, told us a story I’ll never forget. He owned a successful jewellery store in a mall. After attending his first Dale Carnegie course, he decided to treat the security guards in the mall, whom he’d always ignored, in a friendly and respectful manner. He started asking them about their families and greeting them. Suddenly, they started arresting thieves in his shop, for shoplifting. He called a meeting of the security guards and asked them what they thought had caused this rash of shoplifting.

To the best of my recall, this was their reply, as Deon conveyed it to me: “Sir, there has always been shoplifting and theft in your store. But you treated us so badly that we simply chose to ignore the thieves. Since you started treating us well and showing a genuine interest in us, we started catching the thieves.” Deon estimated that he had lost tens of thousands of dollars over the years because of his uncaring and haughty attitude towards the security guards.

We tend to underestimate the tremendous untapped profit that can be released when we start to treat our employees well. I’m not talking about being soft or compromising our standards; I’m talking about being sincerely interested in their wellbeing, dreams and goals. Remembering their family members’ names and their birthdays is a good start. One simple exercise that works well for me is to have a piece of paper in my pocket where I jot down personal information about employees and file it for later reference.

As a group exercise, we hang a paper card around their necks, on their backs, and have them each write a positive, upbuilding, sincere and honest compliment about the person on the card on his or her back. At the end of the exercise, each person has a whole list of good things that other people think about them. I have known employees to keep these lists for years. Many people seldom receive specific, honest compliments. They dress as well as they can and nobody notices or remarks on it. They have their hair done, and no one says a thing. They work overtime and it’s taken for granted. Notice their contribution, reinforce good behavior and reap the rewards. And, if you really want to massively increase your sales, stop whining about your staff and attend the Dale Carnegie Management Course. It all starts with the owner of the business. That’s where the buck stops. And that’s YOU.

The same principle applies to Joint Ventures, the most powerful business tool ever discovered. Good relationships are the basis for good business. Together, we can dio amazing things. Check out the DollarMakers Joint Venture Forum.

Is there really a demand for life coaching in the UK?

I see a lot of expensive courses available that teach you how to be a life coach, but (assuming you are good at it) is there really a paying demand for this service?
I guess these answers speak for themselves…

More of an American thing. I dont think many people are earning money as life coaches in the UK.

Life coaches tend to be booked by companies for one day and half day seminars for their staff.

Plenty of courses to train you how to be a life coach– many charging high fees.
