What is the difference between first class, business and coach seats on planes?

I will be traveling from NH to NM and wanted to know what is different about the three choices. I know there is more leg room in first coach but is there anything else? With fuel being so high the airlines even charge for a soda now. I want to go just one way and am trying to decide if the extra money is worth upgrading from coach. Thanks for your help

On domestic services the difference is not as great as it is on international. Basically on business domestic you simply sit up the front of the plane in a bigger seat that reclines more. Yes you get better service and actually get some food thrown in and a bigger luggage allowance. I’ve never seen what I would call true first class on domestic flights with proper beds etc. You will most likely have to change flights on the route you are taking so you will get the chance to get out and stretch your legs at the hub you pass through.

Unless you have money to burn it is simply not worth it. Now on international it is a totally different kettle of fish. Check out the difference in price between a business class fare and an internet coach. BIG Diff.

Now I’ve flown a lot internationally and there is a lot to be said for having a seat that reclines to a full bed,someone tucking you in and having the best of food and drink thrown in. Sleep soundly all night to hit a domestic US flight and just have a bigger seat a glass of juice, beer or champagne. No not the same. On domestic flights you don’t get true business class service to match international.

NLP A Personal Development Tool

Like many personal development innovations, NLP – which stands for neuro-linguistic programming – is a product of the 1970’s when the idea of cognitive patterns creating a subjective form of reality that by virtue of its ability to be manipulated, could be slated into personal development tools.

The goal is to align perceptions – usually of the individual self – with desired outcomes, such as behavioral changes. A large number of proponents of NLP have come forward with an array of techniques and theories which all sought to put this new tool into the proper service of the individual desiring a shift in personal self image and a boost to personal

Of course, no theory will remain unchallenged for long and soon an equally dedicated number of opponents to this new tool were quite vociferous in their allegations that NLP was an unworkable concept that oversimplified rather complex processes within the human mind.

Whatever the case may be, NLP is here to stay. Noted motivational speakers, such as Tony Robbins, have subscribed to the tenets of NLP and thus introduced them to the eager mainstream.

People visiting these seminars or purchasing the materials being sold there are always on the lookout for working concepts, and it seems that NLP fits the bill.

Just like many other innovative ideas in the field of personal development, this one – too – was soon embraced and taken further by many noted authorities in the field who found many new approaches to the subject.

Of course, the application of NLP principles is a highly subjective field of study and application, and it has often been shown that what will work for one person may not actually have any results – beneficial or otherwise – for another.

Thus, many critics have chalked up this tool to the New Age craze of the 1970s, while others have instead opted to integrate its precepts and techniques into their self-help curricula and publications.

The goal for many a person using the tools and techniques is to overcome performance diminishing aspects of their own characters, such as fear of failure, fear of speaking before groups, or simply a lack of self esteem.

All these are viewed as being in direct opposition to the character traits that must be possessed by someone who will succeed in business, and anything that will help a person to get rid of these performance busters is considered well worth its cost.

If you take the time to visit the self help section of any bookstore, or if you simply veer off and visit the professional development section, you will find copious books that employ NLP techniques and tools in order to help the interested reader to overcome a large number of issues themselves, without the need for professional intervention.

Who knows, it might be well worth your time to take a closer look!

Business Coaching Behaviors and Skills

Business coaching is relatively new to the corporate world and aims at enhancing company profits and employee productivity through transformational leadership. It strives to induce positive changes in the organizational behavior, belief and value, in an effort to improve organizational performance and simultaneously provide greater job satisfaction to employees.

Business coaching has the power to change an ordinary group of employees into a high performance team. The field of business coaching has evolved over the years and innovative techniques have been experimented on, in the effort of improvement. It helps all those who wish to eliminate their self-limiting behavior that impedes their progress in life. A business coach ensures that coaching is carried out in a favorable coaching environment, to produce the desired behavior and skill.

Business coaching has identified eleven core coaching-competencies. These have been developed to enhance business coaching behavior and skill within many organizations. These include:

William Greenough, a researcher at the University of Illinois, holds the view that the human brain requires physical and mental exercise, to perform at optimum level. This ability of human beings goes a long way in developing their cognitive powers that could be harnessed to assist them in achieving success and efficiency in their professional and personal lives. The best part is that all this can be achieved through simple coaching exercises for the brain.

Clinical psychologists propose structured mental exercises or brain gymnastics at the workplace, to increase brain volume and activity. The trick lies in providing new challenges to the brain, to sharpen existing skills and develop new ones. Honesty Is The Best Policy

While you join a web-based dating service, you are in search of a girl that you may like – even come to love. That woman is in search of a man that SHE can like and even love.  What you aren’t in search of is a lady who would like your best friend or your idea of what the perfect man looks like or talks like or thinks like.  So, with the intention to find the correct girl for you – and she IS out there – you need to be completely trustworthy with your self about yourself when writing the on-line profile, during the dating process and beyond.

The best way to start writing your profile is to carefully analyze your previous relationship (s).  What was right?  What was unsuitable?  What things really made you like the last girl?  Which didn’t?  Don’t assume that just because you hated that your last girl was so totally self-involved that she couldn’t see the rest, you can overlook that quality this time. You won’t.

In case you aren’t 6’1″ with a six-pack to be happy with, don’t claim to be.  In case you are a bar tender, don’t claim to be a lawyer with a six figure income. If you’re 40 going on 50, do not pretend to be 30 something.

Bear in mind, the concept here is to find a woman who will like you exactly like you are. If you have lied in your profile, the first face-to-face meeting will take away all her doubt that you are a liar – and probably a cheat, as well.  

And when you meet her, if you want to flirt with her, do it in a gentlemanly, not crude, way. I recommend you check out Mr. L. Rx’s guide “Dating To Relating – From A To Z” or perform a search for phrases like “how to flirt with women“, “how to relate to women“, or “Arouse-Rx“.

Lastly, once you have found a woman that you believe will be the one for you, for goodness sakes, cancel your membership to the online dating service.  In spite of everything, you know and she knows that online dating companies are intended for those who are looking – not those who’ve found or been found.
