A Success Mindset- the Difference Between Thinking and Knowing
You have a business idea. You have looked into getting it turned into a full scale business operation. You’re determined to find out what it takes to become a successful business owner, whether you decide to take your business online or offline. You think that you have everything you need, and you’re pretty sure you’ll be successful in your efforts. Stop right there. A success mindset, which is fundamental to a new business, doesn’t settle for pretty sure. Having the business frame of mind means being confident in yourself and your business, even in the face of adversity and uncertainty. It means having a positive outlook and saying “I can do this; I will do this,” as opposed to “I Think I can.”
You need to have the right success mindset before you attempt to start a business, otherwise you will get nowhere. By thinking positively and being certain that you’ve got what it takes to own a business, you’ll be in a much better position to succeed than if you think, ‘Well gee, I don’t know if I can do this or not.’ It’s natural to be timid when you’re putting your reputation and your career on the line to start a new business. However, it’s essential that you put your insecurities aside and throw everything you have into getting your business off the ground successfully.
As a business owner, you need to be focused on succeeding and passionate about starting your business. If having a success mindset wasn’t important, everyone would have their own business. As it stands, some people are just better suited for the “worker bee” role. You, however, you’re ready to step out of the shadows and take control of your future by starting a business. Good for you. Now you just need to get yourself into the mind frame of a successful business person and run with your ideas.
The best way to get into a success mindset is often to visualize your business; imagine it being successful. See yourself standing there, a business owner in all of your glory. Now focus on the things that it took to get you there. For example, did you have an innovative business idea in the first place? And were you dedicated and driven to succeed in your efforts? What other characteristics of the success mindset were important in your vision? By visualizing yourself as a successful business owner, you are more likely to be inspired to succeed than just from reading about how to achieve your goals.

Curing Chronic Back Ache Through Positive Affirmations
When you are enslaved by pain, fulfillment and happiness turn elusive. A chronic back ache can make your life miserable. If the cause of your back pain is an injury or strain on the spinal cord or back muscles, you know what you need to do to get rid of it. But what if you don’t know what’s causing those muscle spasms and aches? Your problem then becomes even more difficult to deal with, since without knowing the cause it’s difficult to figure out the cure. It may sound unlikely or hard to believe but “You” may be the cause of your chronic back pain!
Sometimes our aches and pains are caused by our negative thinking. In order to understand how our negative thought process affects us physically we need to understand the symbolism of our bodies. Our back supports our body and therefore symbolizes our “support system”. Whenever we perceive a problem in this support system, for instance feeling bogged down by stress, responsibilities, financial tensions, or feeling our loved ones are not supporting us, our “support system” starts feeling the pain. Therefore to get rid of it we need to let go of our negative beliefs.
Practicing positive affirmations is an effective yet simple exercise for releasing our negative feelings and emotions. Affirmations work by the simple logic that whatever we hear repeatedly becomes our belief. For instance if you are constantly told that you are “ugly”, then no matter how flattering your physical features may be, you will eventually start viewing yourself as “ugly”. So if we constantly self affirm that we feel supported, loved, and secure, with time it will become our belief.
You can either make up your own affirmations or practice the following in front of a mirror everyday:
“I trust life and feel safe and secure”
“All I need will be taken care of”
“I have the power to take care of myself and my loved ones”
“I feel loved and supported by people I care for”
“I love and approve of myself”
“I choose to be healthy and free of pain”
“All is well in my world”
Repeat these affirmations as often as you can (at least 50-60 times each). A good idea would be to follow a week by week plan and focus on one affirmation every week. Also make it a point to practice these affirmations whenever you can, for instance while driving, household chores, watering the plants etc. With time you will observe a shift in your perception and thinking pattern.
To relieve your back ache completely you may need to exercise regularly and even undergo physiotherapy to strengthen the muscles weakened by pain and stress. Affirmations will ensure that the pain does not return by eliminating the root cause of your problem.

Personal Energy Cards
In a world of ever evolving technology the leaps in energy medicine are Quantum in size and nature. A doctor in Australia with a background in engineering has developed a device that has the ability to energize thousands of healing frequencies onto a card the size of any credit card you may have in your wallet. You may be asking how that is possible and how effective this therapy would actually be in dealing with any health issue. A valid question.
First the recognition that our bodies are able to receive frequencies and emit a frequency is important to understand. Quantum physics provides the science to this fact and every time you have an MRI or CAT scan you are validating it. Our bodies each have a unique frequency they resonate on or with and they are able to receive frequencies if properly formatted. It’s very much like wearing a pain patch or smoking patch. The body is smart and knows exactly where to send the medicine or substance in a patch to the appropriate area of the body. The same is true of the Personal Energy Card the body knows which frequencies to use and how to assimilate them via a card the size of any credit card. The only requirement is to keep the card within five (5) feet of your person in order for the body to access the frequencies embedded in the card. The effectiveness of the cards are generally evident within the first few hours to a day of use. This is especially true for specialty cards such “Insomnia”, “Jet Lag”, “Headache/Migraine”, “Pain” and even “Feel Good” cards. These cards are set for a specific issue and supply frequencies to de-stress the energetic body which in turn balances the physical body. Because these cards can be taken with you, carry them in a purse, a wallet whatever, the card then provides continual, safe holistic therapy.
Who can use these cards? Anyone, adults, children and even pets can benefit from using these cards. Yes, even pets have benefitted from the cards. Animals like humans are a living being with a life force. It is this life force that emits a frequency and animals can receive a passive, positive energetic therapy to help relieve stress from any assortment of ailments. The same is true for children. From a cold or flu the cards can be placed in close proximity to a child and the frequencies will help to neutralize the stress and symptoms of even a common cold. Each person is unique so people will react differently. Some people are extremely sensitive and they may “feel” the effects, whereas most people may just notice their symptoms improving. Regardless the cards have a broad appeal and have no side effects. The worst thing that can happen is sensitive people may need to keep the card at a distance when they sleep.
How much do the cards cost? This is the best part, they are the most reasonable form of an energetic session you can get at this time. The cards start at $25 for the basic frequencies of motivation, detox, love, energy, etc. a total of 12 frequencies. For $50 you can have a card with thousands of frequencies that focus on any issue you may need such as insomnia, pain, weight loss, asthma, depression, fatigue, snore prevention and many more. These cards are equivalent to having several energetic sessions with the EPFX/SCIO Quantum Biofeedback device. Only alternative medicine practitioners who use the EPFX/SCIO Quantum Biofeedback device can create these energetic cards as it requires specific equipment to create them. The Personal Energy Card is a great way to experience energy medicine for the first time and or to enhance any other complementary alternative medicine modality. The frequencies on the cards will stay fresh for about one year unless the magnetic strip is damaged severely. You can even wash the card and the card will still be resonant. These unique Personal Energy Cards offer another solution in your healthcare options for improved health and quality of life. While these cards don’t replace medication or nutritional supplements they offer another viable choice for therapy without the side effects.

The Fundamentals Of Motivation Theory
Most personal development teachers will agree that motivation plays a big role in your ability to achieve anything. Today I’m here to offer a different opinion. I believe motivation as significant as it is insignificant if you are willing to accept such a cryptic statement. This article will look at the essence of motivation and outline some of the ways it can help or hinder the progress towards your goals.
If you think motivation is the key to success you are wrong. Firstly what exactly is this thing called motivation? Different people define motivation in different ways but for the purposes of this article here’s what I think.
Most people define motivation as an ability to take action. To these people motivation is a state of mind, it’s a feeling. In other words it’s a mental construct, it comes from your brain.
My problem with this is that as a state of mind, it is subject to continual change. You know what I mean right? For most people motivation comes and goes. Some days you are motivated and some times you feel lazy. In other words, motivation never lasts! If as many success experts teach, your level of achievement rests on your ability to ‘motivate yourself’ we are all in a lot of trouble!
Most people in this frame of mind talk about motivation as coming from a desire to achieve a certain goal. As psychologists would tell us, motivation can be intrinsic, arising from a desire we hold within, or external, when we are motivated by some external influence like a coach or a deadline. Again whether it be internal or external, these factors are subject to change: our desires fluctuate like the changing tide and external factors are in also in perpetual motion, increasing and decreasing in their effect on us.
In my mind I believe the motivation that we need is something very different.
I believe that to be ultimately successful we have to be driven forward by things that are eternal. We have to have as our motivation, underlying principles, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, values and goals that will never change. By being motivated this way, we can retain the sense that we must continually take action regardless of how internal or external circumstances change.
So what factors of our lives have this level of consistency?
While there are many, the main one is your purpose. Your life purpose, whatever it is you’re here on this earth to do, and your innate need to fulfill that is the most powerfully motivating force you can experience. When your action each day is inspired by a desire to fulfill that which is the essence of your existence on this planet will push you farther than any emotional or physical external influence. What else?
Your values!
The things you value as a person are far more concrete than fluctuating impulses of desire that you experience daily. Your values contribute to who you are and once developed and clarified, create a code of conduct for your life that you will be very reluctant to violate. The urge to live these values and be congruent with that you value and believe also represents a powerful source of motivation.
While there is more, I intended this article to be merely a sample of some of the sources of motivation that are truly compelling. With a deeper level of introspection and a greater clarity of who you are you can experience a profound sense of motivation that can guarantee continual action and progress through all the seasons of your life’s journey.

When you Make the Decision to Have Gastric Bypass Surgery, you Should Also Hire a Life Coach!
I know you are saying to yourself, “What’s the big deal?” You think that once you go through the surgical procedure, you’ll go to a couple of follow-up appointments and maybe attend some support group meetings – making the whole experience “a piece of cake.”
Well, it’s not that easy.
Like many people, you may be under the misconception that you will be able to succeed after Weight Loss Surgery simply on your own. Unfortunately, the odds are against you. Too many times, people assume that this type of surgery is a “Magic Pill” and their troubles will be gone forever.
Well if you believe that, you are just kidding yourself.
However, there is a way to make your post-surgery experience more effective. If you were to consider hiring a personal Life Coach, you would not only have individualized support, you would also have a collaborative partner who would hold you accountable without judgment.
A Life Coach’s job is to help you live within your personal integrity, or what I like to call your “truth.” To be a person of your word, you need to act consciously on your decisions. Saying, “I’m going to do this” to a Life Coach is a powerful motivator that has the potential of countless successes.
Through regular sessions, a Life Coach asks questions with the intention of determining how you are progressing toward your goals. Therefore, when you make a commitment to “change”, you are more inclined to accomplish any personally defined goal!
And that’s even before you factor in personal accountability – this is where the Life Coach commits to helping you keep your word to yourself. In this collaborative, non-judgmental relationship, you will become empowered, knowing that you have a partner whose only purpose is to see you succeed. By being responsible within yourself, you gain clarity, honesty, compassion, and a clearer picture of what the distant future holds.
By keeping your eye on the ball, mixed in with motivation, you can’t help but feel as though you have the power to cross the finish line. Yes, in a perfect world, we would be internally motivated and only need to be accountable to ourselves. But it is ultimately ineffective and less likely to keep you moving toward your eventual accomplishment.
A Life Coach helps you see opportunities that were out of your sight previously. Perhaps you might be stretched to playing a bigger game or even challenged to not just meet a standard, but to begin making shifts toward extending your own individual standards. You can then make your decisions based on this much fuller picture of your situation.
Basically, anyone who wants to make an improvement within any aspect of their life can benefit from coaching. If you notice, all great leaders have coaches. This is also true with athletes. The presidents of most companies and political organizations always have coaches or advisors who help them make improved decisions, plan better, show more support and set/stay on track with their goals.
Why should you be any different? You chose to take control and save your life by having Gastric Bypass Surgery. By hiring a Life Coach, you can take greater steps not only to change your physical body, but also your mind and soul.
Let’s face it, 95.5% of the time, it was not simply a physical issue that caused your obesity. It was the other factors in your life. How often have you felt the repercussions of low self-esteem, bitterness, loneliness, desperation and depression? They all stem from not having processes for that well-defined, healthy and fulfilling balance that you need.
Weight Loss Surgery only cures the symptoms of obesity. It does not fix the cause. But when you work with a Life Coach, awareness becomes the key to unlocking so many possibilities. The more conscious you are regarding the choices you make, the more successful you will become.
A Life Coach will encourage, support, challenge and empower you on an ongoing basis. If you want assistance after your Weight Loss Surgery in identifying, envisioning, planning and taking consistent action toward achieving your life goals, I encourage you to hire a coach!

Life Coaching – When You Spot It, Acknowledge it
When you spot something synchronistic acknowledge it. Get yourself in high alert today. Be alert to the miracles that are happening. Notice how you think of people and they call. You think about something and it happens. You have this power. You have the power to influence reality. When something miraculous happens, practice jumping for joy. Say to yourself “Thank you God, Universe, All That Is, Source Energy, Unifying Field,” I still can’t figure out what to call it.
So what ever you call it, thank it! Be grateful. When something magical happens to me, I immediately call my buddy Thach, and tell him because he is a bonafide master of the The Law of Attraction, and by telling him, I solidify it…The Drunk Monkey starts to get that it’s real, and has an easier time in the future accepting my outrageous intentions! By the way, if you haven’t studied with Thach lately, he teaches The Science of the Miraculous…go to www.matthewferry.com to read all about it.
Another example of expecting synchronicities and declaring miracles is our daily reporting system. Any time something amazing happens you can call the testimonial line and report it. Here is the number…800-609-9006 x6926 I want to here from you. I want to be the person you tell, that solidifies it for you. The more people you tell about your unexpected, unexplainable, good fortune, the more unexplainable good fortune comes your way.
Every time I send you a Being Unstoppable post card, and there is a link to write your miracles, record them on the phone and even up load your picture!!The purpose of this discipline is to create focus and put energy on the tiny little miracles that are happening all around us. Unexplainable good fortune happens constantly for people like you. The key is to amplify the energy of it by acknowledging it.
I have a client named Sid. Sid told us something amazing today and we, as a group, all got excited about and amplified the energy of it. He put a buyer under contract and on the way back to the office, the buyer made an unreasonable request. The buyer asked if Sid wouldn’t mind driving by another property, even though she had no intention of buying it. Most Realtors would honor this request, but feel like it was a waste of time and complain to themselves internally. Sid, being a student on Matthew Ferry Int decided to roll with the request and see what happens. He just expected something good to happen because of it. (Expecting synchronicity).
When they arrived at the property Sid noticed a man flagging him down. So Sid rolled down the window and the man said, “Are you Sid?” “Yes”-said Sid. “You sold my mothers house 5 years ago, and she was just talking about you. She wants you to sell her house, do you have her number?” the man said. The rest is history but you can imagine Sid’s shock and delight.
The coaching we gave Sid was to give up the shock because to be “Shocked” means you don’t believe that things like this happen to you. If it’s a surprise then you aren’t practicing expecting miracles to occur and they won’t. Instead focus on the delight. Get excited about each tiny synchronicity; thank the Universe/God/Source (what ever floats your boat) for sending it your way. Daydream about the synchronicities and miracles that have occurred in your life and watch that part of your life expand. Keep saying to yourself over and over again, “The right people, at the right time are falling into my lap. My intentions are being delivered to me with perfect synchronicity”.
So what has been happening with you lately? What good things? What exciting things? What wonderful things? You have been practicing the principles of Being Unstoppable now for a while. Have you reported any unexpected, unexplainable good fortune? Have you reported any unstoppable moments? People you called that you had been putting off. Actions you took that scared you, but you did it anyway? Go ahead. You can do it. You can report. You deserve to be acknowledged. You deserve to be praised. You are a powerful creator.

Business Coach Emphasizes Soft Skills to Improve Performance
It’s not how smart you are; it’s how connected you are. The business coaching industry is increasingly looking at developments in the understanding of peak performance to help leaders and managers develop their skills. Valedictorians and technical experts are toppling from their pedestals as a large amount of research confirms a new formula for stardom in the workplace. The qualities of EQ, or one’s “emotional intelligence quotient,” turns out to be twice as important as IQ or technical expertise in determining who will succeed in the workplace.
Categorized as “soft skills,” the structure of the EQ powerhouse includes objective self-awareness, effective self-management, and the use of social/communication skills that help facilitate understanding and collaboration with others. In Working with Emotional Intelligence, author Daniel Goleman confirms the importance of EQ with an exhaustive review of research on top-ranked managers throughout the business world. Outcomes show conclusively that those with higher EQ consistently surpassed colleagues with deficits in “soft skills,” despite the presence of superior IQ and technical expertise among the latter.
Since these skills are not commonly addressed in formal education, their development is arbitrary for many. Fortunately, there are solutions. WealthBridge Connect, an elearning company that focuses on productivity solutions for businesses and entrepreneurs, focuses their training programs around EQ development in today’s workplace. Co-founder and Chief Learning Officer, Dr. J. Gregory Gillum, launched his personal journey of self-discovery through the coaching process, and it changed the course of his professional life. Recalling the moment of self-awareness, Gillum remembers looking at his business coach as he said, “I want to do what you do.” His coach responded, “Why don’t you?” Eight months later, Gillum became an entrepreneur in the coaching world. Prior to his role at WealthBridge Connect, Dr. Gillum served as the Chief Executive Officer of humanfusion, an award winning coaching and consulting firm that focused on leadership and management development.
Gillum’s mission as a business coach involves teaching the skills of EQ to individuals aspiring to realize their full potential. His ideas follow the findings of Goleman’s research: “If you can develop core competencies in this area, you will enhance your ability to rise in any organization.” Gillum’s unique approach to EQ training utilizes the integration of EQ into the four life domains, all of which are essential to success. Taken together, they encompass elements such as the organization of physical space, time management, effective focus, an objective awareness of strengths and limitations, and the cultivation of a sense of gratitude and accountability to the community and world at large. Gillum reports that as clients began to practice the disciplines within each domain, they experience a powerfully expanded sense of vision and possibility.
Gillum enthusiastically describes transformative outcomes with the coaching process. In addition to enhanced self-awareness and expanded vision, clients can anticipate dramatic increases in productivity. “I coached a group of realtors, and every top performer dramatically increased their productivity during the coaching process. One first-year real estate agent landed in the top 25 (of over 300) for her geographic area. She was astounded,” Gillum said. “I have had similar success with financial planners, small business owners and other entrepreneurs. Coaching has a dramatic impact on performance in any field.”
Gillum addresses the area of management with a technique he learned in the pharmaceutical industry called assimilation, an intervention designed for managers with work performance problems. The initial steps involve individual sessions with the manager and interviews with workplace associates who can provide additional perspective on the problem. The coaching strategy culminates in a powerful, live version of the 360 evaluation in which all parties involved in the problem assemble together. With the support of the coach, the manager must decide how to handle issues concerning employees and workplace issues. Gillum summarizes the benefits of this high-impact learning experience: “It creates public accountability and also requires everyone’s participation in getting to solutions. The manager’s performance improves, and the resulting ‘buy-in’ strengthens the sense of community.”
A critical part of the coaching experience is client behavioral assessment. To address this critical success factor, Gillum uses the Winslow Dynamics Profile (WDP), thought to be the gold standard of assessments by behavioral psychologists worldwide. WDP measures 24 critical traits, including the individual’s emotional intelligence. WealthBridge Connect is one of the few companies in the Midwest licensed to use the WDP.
Apart from his own passion for the work of WealthBridge Connect, Gillum is confident about the future of coaching. “Coaching is rapidly being legitimized in the business literature, as well as through personal and organizational validation with objective outcomes. Rapid changes in the workplace will necessitate the need for coaching as we move deeper into the information age, with knowledge workers becoming more in demand. The new work environment will require a visionary style of management, which gives employees permission to explore, question, and participate in the development of their own potential, and to contribute meaning and significance to the mission of their organizations.”
###
Dr. Gillum is the Chief Learning Officer of WealthBridge Connect, Inc. As CLO, his primary role is managing the universe of information that WealthBridge members use to drive their business to new heights. He lives with his wife and two children on a farm in central Kentucky.

Coaching Services for the Business World
The coaching services in the business world are referred to as executive coaching services. Executive coaching marked its existence ever since the first manager produced the first successful team. It revolves around inculcating various talents and skills among the executives, by training and coaching them via new challenging ideas and possibilities. It helps them to develop and grow with the organization. There are several coaching services that provide the executives with the ability to communicate effectively and motivate and establish a relationship with the team. These are remarkable traits that bring out innate values of every individual. The business coaching service is new to the corporate world and it facilitates behavioral and psychological changes in the executives, enhancing their managerial skills. Owing to the increasing demands and pressures of the modern business environment, the demand of executive coaching is also rising.
Types of coaching services for the corporate world:
There are various coaching services that contribute to the development of the business world. They are as follows:
Coaching services to improve skills: Coaching service for the development of skills is designed to enable the executives to learn certain abilities and provide them with several perspectives, concerning management and relationship coordination. These services provide the executives with the ability to handle the new responsibilities, with the implementation of innovative tactics. In addition, it helps refine the existing proficiency of the employees.
Coaching services for overall development: These coaching services aim at enhancing the competencies of the individuals working in the corporate world. The service helps an individual to identify his hidden talents and modify them, according to the needs of the new profile and the crucial challenges that come along with it. In addition to this, it involves refining their speaking and listening skills, cultivating strategic planning, enhancing their time management skills and encouraging participation among subordinates. It not only trains executives to handle newer profiles, by broadening their technical know how, but also enables them to cultivate their interpersonal competence.
Coaching services to enhance performance: Personal ability and the feedback received from the group, combines to form the parameters to evaluate the performance of an executive. Being conversant with the essential technical or academic skills is not enough to execute the work assigned. You need to maintain a positive rapport with teammates and other staff within the organization. Performance is not evaluated on an individual basis, but also the overall performance of the team. Team spirit, rate of work completion and the collective effort of the team, form the key factors that determine the effectiveness of the employees and that of the organization.
Behavioral coaching services: More often than not, when an employee starts climbing the corporate ladder he is often considered arrogant by team members. This perception necessitates the executives to be brave enough to tackle the unnecessary criticism and win over the confidence and support of their colleagues. It is important to build a favorable rapport and assure the employees of their loyalty. These executives need behavioral coaching, to help them plan effective strategies to win over their subordinate staff. It calls for a considerable amount of emotional and mental capability to handle new challenging responsibilities. The program revolves around communication and effective leadership skills.
Transformational coaching services: The transformational coaching services are more personal in their approach, as compared to other coaching services. It analyzes the behavioral aspects of the trainees that hinder their effectiveness. It also evaluates the current behavioral patterns and abilities of employees and designs methodical strategy to improve them at the same time. The coach determines the limiting behavior pattern of the employee and formulates a plan to overcome the drawbacks in an effective manner.

What’s your best "power of positive thinking" experience?
I am really interested in the concept of positive thinking and would like to hear how people have benefited from it in their lives.
i would call it positive expectations . if you dont believe good things can happen for you then you will take fewer risks an reap fewer rewards. i can give you an example of another guy. he was in a goodwill store an saw a document that he thought was valuable. there were several skeptics. but he persisted. an sold it for two hundred thousand dollars. bought it at the thrift store for a few dollars.
